Evy Migadaki DMD, FAGD, FICOI

A product of the finest traditions of US higher education, Dr. Evy Migadaki got her Bachelor’s degree with honors from Brown University, majoring in Human Biology. Next she enrolled at the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine where she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree. She built upon this background of Natural Sciences and Medicine by completing two consecutive one-year post-graduate dental residencies, respectively at New York University College of Dentistry and Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. Presently Dr. Migadaki routinely enrolls for continuing dental education courses especially in implant dentistry which has now become her primary area of interest. She has trained with Dr. Jack Hahn of the Perio Institute, Dr. Arun Garg of Implant Seminars and Dr. Trevor Bavar of New York University, who are among the foremost educators in this exciting new field. She is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantology (ICOI) and is also in the process of earning her Fellowship from the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD). She is licensed in the state of New York and practices dentistry in the Washington Heights/Inwood area of New York City where she lives with her husband and twin daughters.

La formación universitaria recibida por la Doctora Evy Migadaki podría ser considerada como producto de la más fina tradición del sistema educativo americano. Su carrera comenzó en la Universidad de Brown en Rhode Island, donde se licenció con honores en la especialidad de Biología. Continuó sus estudios en el Departamento de Medicina. Dental de la Universidad de Tufts en Boston, donde obtuvo el título de Doctora en Medicina Dental (DMD). Posteriormente complementó su formación universitaria con dos años de residencia, primero en la Escuela de Odontología de la Universidad de Nueva York y después en el Departamento de Medicina Dental de la Universidad de Columbia. Para la Doctora Migadaki la formación continua ocupa un lugar fundamental como medio de perfeccionamiento profesional. El Doctor Jack Hahn, del Instituto Perio, el Doctor Arun Garg, profesor del Instituto de Implantes y el Doctor Trevor Bavar, de la Universidad NYU, forman parte del elenco de profesionales de los que ha recibido formación, siendo ambos dos de las figuras hoy en día más influyentes en el campo de implantes. Esta área, por otra parte, constituye actualmente su principal campo de interés. La Doctora es miembro del Congreso Internacional de Implantología Oral (ICOI) y de la Academia General de Medicina Dental (AGD). Está colegiada en el Estado de Nueva York, ejerciendo la profesión en los barrios de Washington Heights/Inwood de la ciudad de Nueva York, donde vive con su marido y sus dos hijas gemelas.
